Universal Preschool (UPK)
UPK ensures that every child in the year before they are eligible for kindergarten is eligible for up to half-day (15 hours) of state-funded, voluntary preschool beginning in the 2024–25 school year. Providers may choose to offer 10-hour programs. Three-year-olds who are low income or have qualifying factors can reach out to their school district of residence for more information.

Community Developmental Screenings
Families can access free developmental screenings for children ages 3–5. These quick, 30-minute appointments include checks for vision, hearing, speech, dental, and overall development.
